The newer SDS2 versions are different software in important ways — cloud, AI, integration. Subscription gets you all of that, plus continuous updates instead of major version migrations. You're not giving up ownership; the perpetual fallback is built in.
SDS2 maintains backward compatibility. A Ver 25 perpetual compatibility licence is included for legacy work, though you cannot use both subscription and compatibility licence at the same time.
Yes. After the term ends (12 or 36 months), you can choose not to renew. You retain a perpetual licence for the version current at the time of conversion — without SSA / Forward coverage. You cannot re-enter the conversion programme after leaving.
The promo applies to the first term only. After three years, it auto-renews on a 12-month cycle at list price.
June 30, 2026. Contracts must be signed and invoiced by 11:59 PM IST that day.
